Hong Kong Hospital Authority and the Department of Health Programmes

Public-private partnership programmes (PPP) draw on resources from the private sector to provide efficient and comprehensive medical services to the public. PPP has many benefits: easing the pressure on public medical institutions, making better use of resources and encouraging the exchange of professional knowledge, thereby improving the quality of Hong Kong's medical services.

The Hospital Authority (HA) and the Department of Health have launched a number of public-private collaboration schemes in Hong Kong, allowing patients to choose to use government-subsidized private healthcare services to obtain early diagnosis and receive appropriate treatment. Please consult our Clinical Assistant for the details of Plans that we have joined.
